Never had an issue

Ive not had an issue with static, and if I have I changed the station and was fine.

The app works fine but is a bit useless. It helps if youre scanning for stations and using a wheel. My car uses buttons to change stations so a spinning wheel is kind of useless as I can change the station on the device but my car cant change that quickly. The on screen controls of the native music app are much more intuitive and dont take as much time to look at if youre driving and are hence safer.

The device is fine you just have to use it right. I wouldnt bother with the app.
